Wajee Nature Park Facilities
Accomodation

The original cottage on site built in 1941 can accommodate a family or group of 7.

Grass thatched twin bedded rondavels and are also available, charmingly situated amongst flowering shubbery with bird baths and feeding tables on the grass in front to facilitate more relaxed bird spotting.


Campsite
A camping ground for 20 tents is also available. Tents, mattresses, ground sheets and camping stoves are available for hire.

Self Catering & Bar / Restaurant Services

All facilities are geared towards the self catering traveller. Excellent fresh farm produce is available at the nearby market (staff can do the cooking for you at a fee).

The alternative is to eat at the restaurant which serves genuine Kikuyu dishes such as nguaci, nduma, irio, mukimo, mutura and muratina (honey beer) as well as the more familiar rice and chicken or meat dishes.

Overnight visitors can enjoy the romance of a candle-light bush dinner, with drinks served from the well stocked bar, around a congenial campfire.


Conference Facilities
Wajee Conference Room A large grass thatched hall (capacity 100) with TV and Video is ideal for social, business and academic gatherings.
