Not only enticing bird lovers, this Park attracts naturalists of all sorts as entomologists and lepidopterists have commended it for the wide variety of birds and butterflies to be found here, while the dedicated walker would be attracted by the many possibilities for guided walks to nearby waterfalls and a coffee factory. The park has walks cut through the forest (the full circuit comprises more than 3km) and in Mongoose Glade you will be able to spot the Hinde's Babbler amongst many other species of birds.
On a clear day it is also possible to see Mt. Kenya in the distance (Kenya’s highest mountain) from a specially constructed viewing tower.
